Oxfordshire Cross Country Championships 8th January 2012

The Oxfordshire County Championships and the Oxford Mail XC League will be combined again this year.

Competitors may compete in either or both races if eligible.  Those competing in either the County Championship or both Championship and also Oxford Mail League will be issued with distinctive race numbers – same number, but different colour background.  Championship competitors should collect their numbers on the day. If competing in the OML only, wear the normal race number. 

An information sheet, and entry forms will be available on the Oxfordshire AA website: http://oxonaa.org.uk/    I am also sending them with this email.

Club contacts – please supply the details of your club entries using the excel spreadsheet supplied, and email  the file to me at noel@oxonaa.org.uk  or agnb@mail.com.   The format is the same as the one used by the Oxford Mail series, so using the same one will make it easier to administer.  Please also supply at least email address and telephone number of the contact person for club/schoo.  Cheques for club entries should be posted to the address on the form.

Single entries also should be emailed, with cheques following by post.

The closing date for entries is 27 December.  Please get entries in on time, and if possible before Christmas.  Thank you.

Let me also draw your attention to the CAU Inter Counties taking place at Cofton Park, Birmingham on Saturday 10  March.  Details are given on the attached information form

Club team managers should submit names of anyone they wish to be considered for the Inter Counties if those people are not available to compete in the Oxon County Championships.
Selection for the inter-counties teams will be MAINLY based on the results at the county championships on January 8th. Any runners wishing to be considered AND who are not entered for the championship event MUST tell either Noel Blatchford, the Championships Co-ordinator [or John Sear, County Chairman] BEFORE the Championships.
